Winter opening Weekends (booking tabs below)
All sessions are 45 minutes long, including 40 minutes in the water.
Weekend Lane Swimming Sessions:
Saturday and Sunday sessions between: 8am-11am. 3 lanes: fast, medium and slow. Capacity: max 7 per lane.
Session Basics –
You can get into the water when you arrive (on time). After 40 minutes you must leave the water at the allotted time. This will be signified by a whistle. Please leave the water immediately.
You then have 5 minutes to prepare yourself and vacate the premises.
Abiding by these times will ensure that you get the maximum time in the pool and allow those coming in after you to maximise their time in the pool.
Please ensure that you arrive on time. If you are late you will still have to leave the water at the allotted time.
Cold Water Swimming Information
Getting in – Plan: wet suit / length of swim, Wear easy to get out of / into clothes, Wear hat (or two),Don’t jump in – use steps Get breathing under control.
Getting out – Get out via steps, Use changing rooms, Don’t take a hot shower straightaway, Get out of wet stuff immediately, hot drink / cake / relax
Payment of £5 per session will be taken at time of booking. Please ensure you have your correct slot before booking as we are unable to give refunds.
Once you have completed the booking you will be taken to Paypal to complete your payment (you do not need a Paypal account). Once your payment has been completed you will be taken to the Wivey Pool User Guide webpage and you will also receive an email confirmation.
