Where can I park?


There is a small car park at the side of the pool and a free car park on the main road opposite the recreation ground. On road parking also available on Croft Way.

I am not a member can I swim?


Everyone is welcome to swim at Wiveypool. At the gate you can pay to become a member for the day. This entitles you to swim at every session that day, except the morning session between 11 & 12:30 which is for annual members only
People who are on holiday may also purchase a weekly membership to swim for 7 days

What are the changing facilities?

There are individual changing cabins and separate women’s and men’s communal changing room with baby changing facilities.
We provide open boxes at the end of the pool for leaving your clothes and there is space under the seating. Please do not bring valuables as we do not have lockers available.
The pool provides external showers which are solar heated.  Please bring eco friendly soaps and shampoo as we do not have mains sewerage.

Is the pool heated?


The pool is kept at a temperature of around 26 degrees

Can we bring food?


The pool shop sells hot drinks and snacks. There are picnic tables and chairs and you are welcome to bring your own food.
The recreation ground beside the side the pool has a children’s playground, green space for games and it is possible to seek permission to hold barbecues. Why not plan a party with a picnic, outdoor games and hire the pool.
Please ask in the shop if you need to warm baby food.

How can I pay?

Annual membership – you can pay on-line via Paypal, card or bank transfer.
At the gate we accept cash and cheques but are currently unable to take card payments or mobile pay – sorry.
